Approaching festivities

To receive a book before December 25th, it is necessary to formalize the order at least 2 weeks in advance and notify the bookshop that delivery must take place before Christmas. The bookshop usually closes in August: orders placed during this period are processed as quickly as possible upon return.

Export license

Some of our books (printed 70 years or more before purchase) require an export licence to leave the country: the timing of the release of free circulation licenses is quite long, and it can take up to a month and a half to obtain the licence. Contact us for more information.

Notes Non comune prima stampa, uscita postuma e seguita subito nel 1893 da una ristampa con cui è facile confonderla. «Dopo la sua morte, su incarico del fratello Paolo, il grammatico e lessicografo purista G. Rigutini ordinò e raccolse in due volumi (“Note gaie” e “Divagazioni critico-umoristiche”, editi entrambi a Firenze nel 1892) gran parte delle prose sparse di Collodi, intervenendo con arbitrarie correzioni e aggiunte ai testi» (D. Proietti, voce DBI vol. 66, 2006). Le «Note gaie» raccolgono: «Amicizie moleste»; «La religione spontanea»; «Il deputato assente»; «La partenza del Papa»; «Pane e libri»; «La tassa sui gobbi»; «La facciata del Duomo di Firenze». In introduzione, un profilo biografico dell’autore a cura di Rigutini, ancora oggi fonte per la vita dell’autore.
